Forgive me, I’m no expert, but what benefit will there be by doing this?

Stock Power Supply Load
I'm debating some upgrades for my QL, but wanted to check the stock PSU can cope! Here is what I'm thinking of using; 1. Tetroid QL Backplane 2. Tetroid Gold Card 3. Tetroid Disk interface with CF card 4. vDrive I already have Tetroids replacement voltage regulator installed. Can the QL PSU cope wit...

Spotted on eBay
Not my auction, but today I spotted a QL complete with GST 68K OS.

Does anyone know how many of the GST boards were made?
Do you have to have the GST ROM board, or is there a way to softload the OS on a QL?

Re: Running SMSQ/E
Any PC case will do, I tired to fit a mplane based system in a Black Shuttle case. the dimensions of the Shuttle case a re a little tight for the mplane. That is a shame about the Shuttle cases, I'm sure there is one sat in the workshop at work. The plan is for a dual floppy setup, one physical 3.5...

Re: Running SMSQ/E
Hi Rob, if this is the machine I think it is, then it's got the mplane backplane in it (https://qlwiki.qlforum.co.uk/doku.php?id=qlwiki:mplane), so it should fit in a small tower case or an old desktop case. If you do decide to move it from it's current case, can I make a very odd request in true H...

Minerva 1.98 ROM with QemuLator
Has anyone used the Minerva 1.98 ROM with QemuLator?
I had a quick go here, the emulator starts, albeit slowly, the RAM test completes, then the screen slowly fills with rubbish.
