Re: 5.25" floppy drive configuration
Hi, The Drive Select resistors, which are jimpers or wire links are labelled DS on the controller board. Which is where you have soldered some wires. Re: What makes the OS for QL any better, different, unique ?
Hi, I nearly bought a Dragon to use OS/9, but a single user licence was required and is still required from Microware. Here is s link to some OS/9 archived software and documentation: http://www.os9projects.com/Newsletters/Newsletters.html I do not think it is worth the effort of porting OS/9 to the...

Re: 5.25" floppy drive configuration
Hi,
I had a 80 Track 5.25" Disk Drive on a QL with a Trump Card, which I have a copy of Turbo on 5.25"disk. All seemed to work okay.
I have old BBC Micro switchable 40/80 Track 5.25" disk drives, I will try them out over the weekend.

Re: ZXSimulator
Hi,
Nice video, have tried the other ZX81 emulators for the QL?
Just thought, convert your Elite programme to Superbasic and compile it with Qliberator or Turbo.

Re: QLiberator v3.38
Hi,
Thank you for the great work, once I had changed my boot file, every thing worked great.
Is there an environmental variable that can be preset to define the screen location of the compiler front end?

Re: Porting Python 3 to the QL
Hi, I downloaded the current stable version, Python 3.7.7 I compiled the source on my Linux laptop, which compiled okay and installed it to my system. I looked at the source code to Python 3.7.7 which looks like C source code to me and referring to the Python Developers documentation, in the section...

Hi,
Why not make the SMSQ/E Language support file modular, so that they can be loaded at boot time or configured

Re: SMSQ/E keyboard tables for BBQL
Hi, The defaults can be overridden by entering the KBD_TABLE and LAN_USE command in the boot file: 10 LANG_USE "D" 20 KBD_TABLE "D" In the Q68, I have the theses commands in the first lines of lines of the boot file, as 'GB', as I can only speak English... If QPC2 is being used, ...
