Loading SCR to screen

I'd like to take an SCR file and load it onto a section of the screen. I plan on creating the SCR file by converting a JPG or PNG image to SCR (GD2). With a full size SCR, one would just LBYTES the file to the screen. I want to just have a small SCR file and load it into a window at a certain locati...

Re: SMSQ\E on Gold Card

There is a version of SMSQ/E just for the Gold Card. I got my version years ago before SMSQ/E went open source, so I'm not sure how to get the binary. Hopefully someone else can answer this part of the question. Once you have the binary, you can LRESPR the binary to had SMSQ/E loaded. It is loaded j...

Re: Bible Code helpline request

I have no idea what he means by "a text input" or a "particular text download".

Is he looking to use a QL formatted hard drive on a newer computer? Or is he referring to floppy disks?

Need a lot more clarification on this one.

Re: Large Sinclair selection in US

That's still a lot of money for the whole collection, esp. when all you can go on is a few pictures. There is no listing of exactly what you are getting or any info on if it is all working. Would be interesting to know exactly who it came from. A collection like this was probably from a long time me...

Might? No, it has been done. I've been using the history device driver since the late 90's.

Re: UK Voted to Leave the EU

Guys,

Shouldn't this whole thread be moved to the Off-Topic section, as it does relate to the QL?

SMSQzine #3

The third issue of SMSQzine is now available from my Google Sites page:

https://sites.google.com/site/svenqhj/home

Just look at the bottom with the files and you will find it, along with a zip file which contains all of the source code mentioned on the zine.

Re: Earthquake

A 1.9 quake and that made the news?

An earthquake is not an earthquake until at least 3.0. Anything less is not work talking about. :-)

Re: Quill files to PC?

mtools on the QL will read and write files to DOS floppies. Mtools can be found on Dilwyn's web page. Since I don't use Windows or DOS, I read a QL formatted disk using Linux dd command and create a floppy image file, which can be read by SMSQmulator. There are a number of tools that will convert Qu...

Re: ProFortran

Oh, almost forgot. I'm using Q-Emulator version 3.1.3. The EPROM is loaded via the configuration. I also have TK2 loaded as an EPROM. There is no boot, so it can't be a conflicting toolkit for something else.
