Re: QLUB Adapter - Initial Release...
Hi, I have looked into having Daniel's case printed by a 3D Print Company. I have estimates for £3 per case with the logo lid, in Black PLA. If anyone is interested, I could build the adapter into the above case. Hi Dereck, does your offer include the complete kit (box, teensy, and soldered compone...

Re: QLUB Adapter - Initial Release...
Great!! QLUB is a long-awaited development. :D I have been using the QL network between my PC (with QPC2), Q68 and QL (with SGG + QLSD) successfully for a long time. The connection between Q68 and QPC2 is via RS232 with Sernet, ... but it would be more convenient to use QLNET to connect all machines...

Re: Target for major new QL hardware
Something that can be both "extension slot plugin" and "standalone" might be feasible, but hardly also "QL mainboard replacement" as a three in one package. The QL case openings require connector locations which are badly suitable for a card that is also slot plugin. (...

Re: Target for major new QL hardware
I have voted for the "QL extension slot plugin" and "QL mainboard replacement" options, but ..., could there be an option that combines these two? (In the style of "Turbo Chameleon 64" (https://www.vesalia.de/e_chameleon.htm)) A board that can operate as a "stand-a...

Re: QNET to USB adapter
But the ability to network BBQL QL Net to Q68 via Sernet QPC2 The Q68 acts as a Network connection to both system, so the QPC2 can access the microdrives of the BBQL. True, but it would be very interesting to connect Q68 with QPC2 through QL NET. This would leave the RS232 port free for other purpo...

Re: 700 Euros for a boxed QL \o/
The only thing that can stop the continuous price rise would be the appearance of a QL motherboard clone and a QL keyboard clone. (As is happening on other platforms). Years ago there was an overvaluation of the Gold Card and Super Gold Card. After Tetroid manufactured their clones, prices stabilize...
Re: QL-SD
I have voted for option 2 and option 1 (in that order). I think the rom port option is more comfortable if you have some QLs, it also does not require opening or manipulating Inside the computer. (Another reason for me is that I already have the internal version ... ...).

Re: Boot Q68 without monitor and keyboard
The "Q Zero" is a tiny QL compatible computer in a sub-RaspberryPi Zero form factor. It has most of the Q68 features, but with some omissions and some additions. It is meant as a space + cost saving "embedded" board, so it has no fullsize connectors on it, just pin headers. In y...
