Re: how can we run .bas files from archive.org tosec?
Hi, Download the zip archive file and extract the contents, which more zip archives, unzip all these, which creates more subdirectories with the basic file located in the subdirectory. Then use the LOAD command to load the basic file. I suppose you could get unzip to ignore the subdirectories. The z...

Re: SMSQ/E v3.38 released
Hi, SMSQ/E only has a limited amount of languages built into the compiled binary files, you have to write your own language file, compile into SMSQ/E to gnerate the new language defined by the LANG_USE and LANUAGE. Re: Dead SuperHermes - any hints/tips for investigation?
Hi
The key point here is the availability of the Superhermes ROM code.
I have asked a few times if the rom code was available to try and make SER3 with Sernet. But nothing ever came of the request.
I doubt Tony has the source to the Superhermes rom.

Re: Dead SuperHermes - any hints/tips for investigation?
Hi, It more likely the fault is on the IPC socket pins, try to inspect each pin, they are indivudally soldered to surface mount pads and damage can occurr to the pins, soldr pads or connecting tracks. You might want to test the conductivity of the tracks from the IPC socket pins to the other compone...

Re: Dead SuperHermes - any hints/tips for investigation?
The circuit diagram for Superhermes was included in the User Manual, some scans of the manual exclude the circuit diagram. Look on Dilwyn's site or this link to the Superhermes manual: http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/manuals/shmanual.zip The circuit diagram is in the manual: "sh print manual.pdf&q...

Re: sQLux v1.0 (The Xmas Turkey)
Hi
No problems, I just not get it to work.
I generally uncompress archive files to a QDOS environment, which preserves the executable header eithout messing about wilth the QDOS file header.

Re: sQLux v1.0 (The Xmas Turkey)

How do I get sQLux to execute a QDOS executable file unzipped with qemi-unzip.

Re: New Tool, qemu-unzip
Hi,
I had to put the complete file path to the decompress directory and the zip file.
Maybe I am a little bit out of date.
I will look at an upgrade.

Re: New Tool, qemu-unzip
Hi, I downloaded the qemu-unzip git zip file and compiled it on my Mint 19.3 laptop, I needed to install libzip-dev... Strnagely, the complied executable is called "qem-unzip" Running qem-unzip, with flightdeck demo from QL Homepage, gives derek@lp1:./qem-unzip -d ~/flight ./flightdeck.zip...
