Re: zx-tapper
Yes, it is. But remember, that Russian clones have stronger output for SAVE, than original Ferranti ULA. ZX Taper read ssignals from 1 V up. https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Foldcomp.cz%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ff%3D39%26t%3D3597%26hilit%3Dtaper%26start%3D75%23p44350

Re: Issue Tx boards discussions
Can be the ZX Spectrum Next case used for QL/Q68 board?Unfortunately, we need only mass production ( big batch ) for QL case to have the resonable price.
That is mass produced, and we can try some negotiation about suprlus production for QL use.

Re: SuperBASIC function for type validation

Re: I haven't seen one of these before.
This is not intended for QL, but for ZX Spectrum 128.
UK version exists (search for "ZX Spectrum keypad"), but the spanish one is more common.

Re: 5.25" floppy drive configuration
QL FDD controllers (at least Miracle's ones) can not handle 1.2MB 5.25" floppy drives. 1.2 MB 5.25" (high density) FDD has 360 RPM (same as 8"), while 3,5 " FDD (in IBM PC - Japanese computers as Sharp X68000 or PC-98 being an exception) and 360/720 K (double/quad density) FDDs ...
