Hi Bob,
Thank you for the information, I forgot about Basic Linker. This sounds a good option.
I like the fact numberless programmes can be used.

Re: Boot Q68 without monitor and keyboard
Hi, Maybe a Keyboard/Mouse switch box is a possible solution. I have a PS2/VGA switch box for the Q68 and PC running QPC2. Just switch to the Q68 on power up and the PS/2 mouse and keyboard is detected by the Q68 firmware. Once booted, switch to PC, the PC USB Keyboard and Mouse go through USB-PS/2 ...

Re: Emacs Programming
Hi Per, I will give it go, thank you for the solution to this. Is it possible to make Qliberator when loaded as a Thing to accept a S*Basic file for compilation, something line: EXEP QLIB;compile$ I know this is not possible, but since the source code to Qliberator has been decompiled, maybe this op...

Re: Emacs Programming
But how do I compile an SBASIC programme in QD? I use the QBASIC thing installed in QD instead of the SBAS thing. It works off the F10 key in the same way and will fire up QLib to compile. I don't know of a way to have both things available simultaneously in QD. Cheers Hi, Thank you for the informa...

Re: Quick q for Jan re: Hardback
Hi,
I was reading another web site... Quantum Technology, the makers of Black Phoenix.
There some excellent QL related ingormation, in the tutorial section, a backup programme called Backup 1.7 is described, maybe worth a look:

Re: Q68 netwrok port hardware
Hi, I thought the Gerber files were produced from the PCB file which is dependant on the Schematic. Maybe reasoning is wrong here. If the schematic drawing is correct, the circuit is constructed as per the schematic and circuit design, the QL NET driver is correctly written, the Q68 is working corre...

Re: Emacs Programming
Hi,
I know about QD/SBAS, which works quite nicely, I tend to use QD for most SBASIC programming.
But how do I compile an SBASIC programme in QD?

Emacs Programming
Hi,
I have been using Emacs on QPC2/SMSQMulator to write DBAIS programmes, is the a way to use the QD/DBAS thing from Emacs?
Up to now I edit the SBASIC programme, save it and LRU N in SBASIC, is there a better way, SSB maybe?

Re: Q68 netwrok port hardware
I was interested, but was waiting on your corrections.Dave wrote:Sorry about that. Nobody seemed interested so I dropped the project.
I would say by experience in the QL world, I think everyone is interested, but some do not say or express the interest.
Looks like I will have to do this myself.

Re: An AH QL, need some more information
Hi,
Someone has made a bad attempt at adding eproms to the QL ROM sockets.
AH ROMs, are an early version of QDOS, which has lots of bugs in it, I usually only use JS ROMs, but Minerva is the best operating system for a QL.
