Re: New (to me) Q40!
Hi,
Congratulations on getting a rare these days, Q40. If you get the answer to your questions I too would be interested as I have an ancient Q60 and would also like to modify it.

Re: QPC2 : WIN1_ cloning
Having done a complete search on my XP PC, the "QXL.win" file is reported as 'not found'. It might not be called "QXL.win". It will have the ".win" extension but might have a different prefix, like QLWA or QXL1 etc. The quickest way to finding where it is is to launch ...

Re: centronics interface schematics???
RWAP wrote The serial GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi are possibly too slow to be honest for some of the printer data unless you buffer it (and are used by the Retro-Printer interface). I am using a serial to serial cable to print files from a Q68 and Q60 through my RPi to a remote wifi printer. Baud...

Hi,
Digital C SE, a development of a small C compiler can support floating point numbers. Now freeware on Dilwyn Jones site as digic.zip download. Not as sophisticated C compiler as C68.

Re: QDOS/SMSQE PRINT Procedure Whitespace issue
Hi Martyn Neither font$ or margin$ could contain CHR$(10). font$ values range from CHR$(249) to CHR$(255). margin$ is just FILL$ CHR$(32) whatever the margin setting is in the Quill doc. I am planning to have a look at what Norman Dunbar's hexdump filter captures, which should tell me which end of t...
