Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver
Hi Martin, I have successfully installed your driver to my Q68. When started, everything initialize correctly. I am able to ping other computers on my local network and ping the Q68 from them. However I have not been successful of communicating with QPC on my laptop. I am pretty sure it is because o...

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver
This is great! I will try it over the x-mas break. Question: your implementation seems to use the Nx_ notation (N1_, N8_, etc) like the QL driver which is nice. Will I be able to use both QL net and Ethernet net at the same time ? i.e. a ethernet link from QPC to Q68 and a QL net link from SGC QL to...

Re: Knoware.no
Ive now added QV/QuickView back to Knoware.no. Great(?) for viewing many graphic file formats on SMSQ/E + GD2 capable systems. Preferably fast CPUs & large screens, also ok for viewing typical QL -type and -sized graphics on Q68 (eg disp mode 3) and better. Note: This is not a finished product,...

Re: Knoware.no
Hi Per, Hope you keep your site up and running for as long as possible. There is a lot of good stuff there. As you know, there are a lot of new QL users these past few months. Sure most of them just want to play games on bareboneQL but a few will eventually migrate to more capable systems and will w...

Re: Knoware.no
Just to let you know that Knoware is up and running again after ten years or so of being nowhere. While I hope there will be something of interest for anyone interested in the QL and derivatives in general, its main interest will be for those of us who like to write programs for it and generally me...

Re: Target for major new QL hardware
The original QL casing is cool, so I say lets keep it. For me, having a GoldCard type board is the most appealing. You want better performance and graphics, plug your new board. You want to go back to the BareBonesQL experience, just remove the board. However, if a plugin type board gets too limited...

Re: Q68 and plug-in ROM
You can use the EPROM_LOAD command. When used the first time after a reset, the ROM image will be loaded at address $C000. Interesting, I was not aware of this command. Currently SMSQ/E doesn't occupy the 16 KB at $C000, so it should also be possible to just load and call it. The area is effectivel...

Re: Q68 and plug-in ROM
Thank you Jan, the EPROM_LOAD command is exactly what I need. As for Minerva you are right. I wrongly assumed that Minerva for Q68 was still 48k including everything... François Hi, Is there a way, when using the Q68 with SMSQE, to load a 16k piece of code at address $C000 in order to simulate a QL ...

Q68 and plug-in ROM
Hi, Is there a way, when using the Q68 with SMSQE, to load a 16k piece of code at address $C000 in order to simulate a QL plugin ROM module ? Some of these module can be loaded anywhere in ram (I think these was a tool for that but I can’t remember) but many need to be run from the correct $C000 add...
