Re: Today I Received...
Today I received... this industrial ISA 486 Single Board Computer. I took a chance as the previous owner couldn't get it to display anything but fortunately was able to get it working very easily (by changing the RTC module and fiddling with the RAM socket connectors). I had it running a 486 DX4 100...

Re: Thor 8 with no keyboard
Both those Thors on ebay went for a lot (not to me)! £1,020 for the model in nicer cosmetic condition with the 2 FDDs and £675 for the single FDD model with signs of corrosion. That's more than I thought they'd go for.

Re: Today I Received...
Jealous of Mortville Manor, I've never seen that one available for sale. Spotted them being sold as a pair on eBay and thought they were worth nabbing After Re-felting them all, Wanderer seems to be fully intact (have taken backups) but Mortville has 4 corrupt files  Does anyone have the follo...

Re: Switching Regulator?
My Murata 150115 regulator has been in my main QL (German model) for 5 years and has been fine, including for the use-case of dumping hundreds of original mdv carts. I haven't actually used it much recently with GC or Trump cards, but it certainly had no issue with those in the past. I wonder if the...

Re: My rare old QL version AH
I thought my QL was an oddity. This beats it. https://www.ebay.es/itm/296234059295?var&widget_ver=artemis&media=WHATS_APP How cool is that! Check out the mdv drives in the front panel. Someone really went to town with that one. I wonder what that display/drive unit started life as, some oth...

Re: My rare old QL version AH
What's the green serial number on the bottom? The socket next to the ROM is present on early Iss 5 boards and can be used to house a 74LS00 and with the wire links configured differently the ROM sockets can be converted to use normal EPROMS instead of those mask ROMs. I don't know what the number me...
