Looks like DISP_TYPE isn't defined.

That was the inspiration.

Also, the protrusion into the ROM port supports the case and the PCB on the case of the QL rather than relying upon merely the springs of the edge connector, which can give connectivity issues. With this case it should be safe to touch the SD card when the machine's on.

Here's a ZIP file of the STL files for the shell and back of the case in case anyone wants to print their own.

I've added a hole for the activity light.

I've pretty well completed the case now. The rear, although tight fitting, needs a couple of dabs of hot glue to hold it in place but that's it. I forgot to add a hole to allow the access light to be seen but I can easily add that to the model before I publish the STL files. IMG_3521.jpeg IMG_3520.j...

Oh, that's the one I have, but the power trace burned out with my Hitachi Microdrive.

I've a 1GB one I bought for use in a camera back in 2004. Unfortunately I've not found a IDE-CF adapter which is will work with as it has a high power draw when spinning up.

Speaking of which, I am working upon one at the moment. Very much work in progress. If only I'd noticed the tiny SMD resistor near one edge the PCB would have slid in correctly.

Unfortunately the KS2 Next isn't compatible with the KS1 alternative cores otherwise you could have run the QL core.
