Re: P.I. Cole - noir detective game RELEASED
I see (about SGC having an auto-start option). Not having a manual for the SGC clone I'm just having to use the Trump Card manual for most things and the command list to guess the rest. Or just read the original manuals ;) http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/manuals/gc.zip and http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs...

Re: P.I. Cole - noir detective game RELEASED
Hmm... You still need to invoke TK2_EXT on the Tetroid SGC clone so I'm wondering if you're lumping the floppy driver ROM code in with TK2 in your description? Are you merely talking about the disk access sub-system? If so, what level of directory support etc. does your code need? As far as I can re...

Re: P.I. Cole - noir detective game RELEASED
Actually, to get TK2 commands on a Trump Card you need to load them with TK2_EXT. I've had one since '87 and it says that TK2 isn't loaded until TK2_EXT is run in the manual too.

Re: P.I. Cole - noir detective game RELEASED
Surely it would need TK2_EXT in the boot file anyway as it's not loaded automatically after reset?
I'm confused why it would work on other platforms by default.

Re: Unboxing Video & Quick Test Sandy SuperQboard
What were the differences in the ROM versions? By the way, I don't know the history of this card prior to rescuing it from disposal (along with the QL) by the Oxford University Department of Chemistry just over 10 years ago. It had probably been left behind by a retiring academic or some such years ...

Re: Silly things you did back in the day.
Back in 1988 Sinclair QL World had a competition to make a promotional looping demo for the QL and I entered with this rather over the top one written in SuperBASIC, which was merely a slideshow held on a RAMdisk... Re: Today I fixed....
Yeah, at least electrical ones. :-) Last night I fixed a Mac Plus, stopping it tripping the whole house electrics. Another electrical surprise I'd rather not have. It was caused by some delayed smoke generators (RIFA capacitors) on the analogue board. I'll do the same fix on the other Mac Plus over ...
