Re: SuperBASIC Functions (RETurn value type)

Well, I have detected in QPC2: 1234 : 1235 DEFine FuNction cc:return 'cc':END DEFine 1236 : 10000 ex cc;'xyz hello' /* One pair of " ' " less :-) */ Which operating system/BASIC versions do support this. A BBQL does NOT(!). I have tested this today: BBQL will not allow you to enter line 1...

Re: 700 Euros for a boxed QL \o/

Same disk drives here with Gold Card. Strange enough, most disks won't format on them in either HD or ED but HD disks formatted as QL disks on a PC are readable and writable on the QL drives. As for QL builds, I have two D15s with Issue 6 board and JS ROMs and two D09s with Issue 5 board and JM ROM ...

Unfortunately I didn't have time to come to the chat. It looks like this year it's going to be a 'serial' birthday party due to Corona measures ;) . Some family members today, some tomorrow...

Re: An AH QL, need some more information

The AH ROM doesn't have much more bugs than JM, I believe only two. It was the first version known to be reasonably stable after the 'dongle' versions FB and PM.

Nevertheless, if you can re-program the EPROMS then Minerva is the operating system of choice.

Re: Quick q for Jan re: Hardback

Mr Bredenbeek (or anyone else who may know), Does 'Hardback' allow the use of a QNET target as the destination, e.g. n1_win1_backup_. There is no mention in the readme. Oh dear, I haven't used it for 25 years or so... Well, it should work with any directory device, including networked drives. One t...

Re: QL Tinkering

I'm pleased your here too, as I was going to ask if you'd mind if I included QED on my BBQL useful utilities md carts? I expect to retail about 5 if I'm lucky, but I don't charge anymore for carts with stuff on than I do for empty ones. No problem, just be sure to take the latest version 2.02 from ...
