Re: Today I Received...
Look at the PCB designs... real artworks that are impossible with modern CAD.

Re: QL Mouse cable connections
For the ICE package, there is a nice hardware project from QLObi. He designed an adaptor for USB+PS/2 combo mice. I'm pretty sure he'd provide the infos needed for reproduction if kindly asked. But that's not a PE solution.

Re: Q68 Order Process
The only incompatibilities that eventually kept a few old games from working on the Q68 are the lack of the coprocessor and microdrives. Both were in my opinion design mistakes in the original QL, and I was not motivated to implement them just for compatibility. But screen and most QL registers are ...

Re: Sir Clive passed away.
There is also something in the German news magazine "Spiegel": https://www.spiegel.de/netzwelt/gadgets/clive-sinclair-mr-inventor-der-vater-des-zx81-ist-tot-a-8ce72d69-7b90-47a1-b892-fe711e3e4147 I wasn't aware that Sir Clive continued to use a slide ruler instead of a computer for himself...

Re: Q68 Order Process
How about an option without QLNET sockets? That would save work and time for those who don't need it.
And thanks for continuing to build the Q68 - even with the delays it is the only QL-compatible mainboard in production these days.

Re: SMSQE in MisTer
If it is a fast serial communication link then I think a fast pipe coupled dual core Qzero makes a lot of sense. It is. I might also add some fast dual port RAM as an additional means to exchange data. Just not sure right now if dualcore is the way to go. Since each CPU needs one separate SDRAM in ...

Re: SMSQE in MisTer
(I am currently using two Q68s. One Q68 is used for calculation, display, keyboard and mouse I/O and the other just calculates.) The Qzero has two completely separate SDRAMs, so a loosely coupled dual core SMSQ/E machine like this, basically two QLs on one chip, would be feasible. My idea was to co...

Re: SMSQE in MisTer
When Peter Graf announced his Qzero I was genuinely excited. I thought: here is the beginning of something truly different and, in my opinion, different is the main attraction of TT’s proposals. I do admit that the Qzero had (still has?) some exciting potential and I feel sorry that I must have dis...

Re: SMSQmulator for Android?
Several years ago, I tried a socalled "J2SE for Android" library which provided Swing and AWT classes for Android. Only used it with a relatively simple GUI though.
