Re: QL-SD
Any reason to think these will not be compatible with the JSU ROM/US Sinclair? Assuming they wii be compatible, I'm on board to buy the external version when it becomes available. Tom

SLUG values and SGC
Hello, I'm trying to get Microdeals QL Flight simulator to run with a SGC. RES_128 is required. Ok. Everytime I roll down the runaway, I reach the far end of the field before I can pull back on the yoke. I've tried SLUG at 40 and 150 with no measurable improvement. Any recommendations other than pul...

Re: Flightdeck program
I believe my Philips HDMI LCDTV can run in 50hz mode. I have a spare QL (UK/Euro version) for parts but it worked when purchased 5 years ago. Possibly, if hooked up to my US QL PSU, and a SCART I could run the software without issue, right?

Re: Flightdeck program
I was unable to get the demo version to run on Q-Emulator. The issue is the EXEC_W command not finding Flight_obj which is definitely is on the virtual drive (flight.obj). I did test Ekotek Simulator with the JSU ROM and it worked great. I realize that Ekotek SIm and the Flight Deck are of different...

Re: Flightdeck program
I just sent Rich the screenshot. So, if I'm understanding this correctly, not all commercial QL programs were coded to deal with both PAL and NTSC environments and it's possible that is the issue I am seeing here. Might there be anyway through SCART and HDMI TV settings that I can deal with this? Th...

Flightdeck program
Hello, I'm working my way through a number of great "old" programs for the QL, including the 1.07 version of Flightdeck. I'm trying to use it on a US QL with a SGC and original ROMs running off a floppy. The pre-simulation settings screen loads and functions as it should. When I enter the ...

simulator by Ekotek
Hello,
Is there a source for downloading/purchasing the flight simulator named "The Simulator" attributed to EKOTEK? It seems very similar to the Microdeal simulator.
Thanks , Tom

Re: Floppy drives misbehaving
Thanks Tobias. DIR FLP1_ or DIR FLP2_ prompts the correct drives to attempt a directory read. Same is true for Format command. I will swap out the cable to see if that helps. I am also wondering if the sensors that detect DD, HD and ED disks are an issue. These sensors depend on various notches on d...
