Re: QL-SD driver 1.10

... as well as sQLux, Q68 Ummm, no. "Both" in the sense of "byte-swapped" or not. As far as I'm aware this is a QPC-only feature. Nope, I implemented byte swapping in sQLux years ago. I am a little confused, the QUBide files from my QL-SD Interface, are read/write on Q68 using t...

Re: Replacement for 68008

Hi,

Could the 68SEC000 be connected to the QL 68008 socket with an appropriate DIP to QFP adapter board, with the possibility of using it own un-contended ram?

Re: OqtaDrive

Hi Tom,

Do you have details of the supports under the PCBs?

Pity the Microdrive Pillars could not being used to mount the OqtaDrive PCB.

Ah ok. Unlikely setup on a PC, but I understand. Well, even better that QPC can do both ;-)

Re: QL-SD driver 1.10

HI Marcel,

I loaded 2 QUBide image file that were used on a QL-SD v1 on QPC v5.0.2 with SMSQ/E v3.38 which worked really well.

Excellent work to get this working.

Re: schematics for floppy disk interfaces

Hi,

If I follow the convert_bas to un-jumble the QEP3 ROM, the eprom data and address lines connection to the QL bus must be determined to produce the un-jumble sequence.

Re: schematics for floppy disk interfaces

Hi,

I had a look at the QEP III manual, which is a little lacking in a lot of places, but the Options Sub Menu indicate a Jumble option to jumble the data or address line.

The manual should of really describe the jumble function.

Re: schematics for floppy disk interfaces

Hi, Here are some pictures of a Q-Disk 4 dated 2986, with a ROM v1.8 Q-Disk4_Top.jpg Here is a view without the heat Sink Q-Disk_Top_NoHeatSink.jpg View underneath Q-Disk-4_Back.jpg I tried to make a copy of the ROM, but the resultant ROM image did not look like a ROM image that I have saved from ot...
