Try QSAVE perhaps? That stores Floats as the actual internal format and should not affect accuracy.
I'm sure Jan already knows this but others might not.

Norm.

Re: Digital C
This might not help with the screen artifacts, but, you should only change mode when you need to. Apparently you should read the current mode and check it before changing. This stops unwanted flashings etc. I'm wondering if Digital C opens a console in case you don't? Maybe the Pointer Environment i...

Re: Assembly Language Book
Well, would you believe it? No sooner had I uploaded a pile of corrections to https://github.com/NormanDunbar/QLAssemblyLanguageBook/releases/latest, than Per (thanks) pointed out another one. Then I found that some of the PE vector names in the index had two entries - one in upper case and one in l...

Hi Brad, The QL keyboard is the stuff of nightmares; it actually feels even worse than I was expecting. Still, not looking to bang out a novel on it so whatever. I suppose it's what you are used to. Back in the day, the best keyboard was the "rubber fish" on the Spectrum! Then the QL came ...

Re: MDV Software Reclamation
Strangely enough, I have a similar problem tonight! (On QPC II 4.05) I'm writing a function to return the floor of a number, just because. When I run it from the prompt with "print floor(4)" I get the correct answer, which is 4. If I run it in a FOR LOOP, similar to this: 1000 for x = -2 t...

Re: Assembly Language Book
I was trundling through my source files tonight, looking for something, when I noticed I had some outstanding issues with my Assembly Language Book (aka the Series from QL Today) - these were fixes that George had advised me about back in 2018! Anyway, they have been done and the new PDF has been up...

Re: Today I Received...
The software in question is at https://www.synaxus.de/index.php/en/traceminer/tm-40 and the company is Synaxus. They apparently registered the Trade Mark "TraceMiner" back in 2013. If they are looking to take money off me for "legal costs" they can go seduce themselves! IN my wor...

Re: Today I Received...
Today, I received, 4 copies of a "Cease and Desist" letter plus lots of threats, from a Munich based German lawyer telling me to stop using the "Trace Miner" name for one of my Oracle utilities, on github and my blog. It infringed, apparently, a registered trade mark for a client...
