Re: QMovie v2.00
What a Christmas present for the QL community. Great stuff, Marcel. I gave it a 1st short try when it was released last December just days before Christmas and had a closer look at it today. I’m highly interested in converting some of my videos to QMovie format. Can you please write a short how-to e...

Re: QLECFG
I tried to follow your instructions and found I had an out of date version of QLE, I have downloaded a the current version. It's always good to use the latest version. ;-) I have another question, when I run QPC2 on my laptop at maximum resolution: 1920x180 and loading all the QLE applictions, I ge...

Re: Removing Jobs From QLE
Yes, the easy way is to use the QLECFG program. See seperate thread. With the use of QLECFG you can get a pretty clean QDT Installation running on QL/E. See attached screenshot. All that in seconds, and without having to change a single line of program code. QL forever! Urs P.S. I'm thinking of addi...

Re: QLECFG
Thanks Derek for explaining. It looks a little complicated. I call it a simple 1-2-3-4-5. Look, 1 - once you've started QL/E, press <ESC> during the countdown, 2 - enter IDE followed by the <ENTER> key, this sets up larger windows for better reading, 3 - enter QLECFG followed by the <ENTER> key, 4 -...

Re: Motion piQtures
Source is included. Have fun. Great stuff (both the band and your work), Marcel! Amazing how little code is needed (EXE size is 336 Bytes) to let SMSQ/E play videos! Windows and even Linux are so bloated those days, to get a tiny task done, almost everything goes in the hundreds if not thousands (r...

...25 years ago: "QL Meeting in Turin, Italy" On today’s date 25 years ago there was the Italian QL Meeting in Turin which took place on Saturday December 1st 1991. I attended the show with my girlfriend of that time. I had a stall with my COWO Electronic business, selling my product range...

Re: QL upgrade versus Q68
Glad to see that there’s still a chance for the Q68 to become available. Keep on going Peter. I prefer the standalone edition, not the QL expansion. A nice option would if the board could also be used as a kind of swap-kit (remove the QL’s pcb and insert the Q68 into the QL case, connect it to the Q...

Re: Motion piQtures
Just curious, what's that FastFind program running in the top right of your screenshot?pjw wrote: Goodtime.jpg
In the left turquoise pane you see the clip data, in the right grey pane you see the player's functional code, and in the middle you see the output.

Re: Motion piQtures
There appears to be more interest in indulging in nostalgia over 30 year old games than trying to create new stuff. I was never really into QL games, so it kinda washes over me. Well, each to his own. I'm fully with you Per. My contribution is a further updated QPlayer. Great stuff! This will proba...
