Hi Bill,

the reset switch might have corroded contacts perhaps. I wonder if a quick squirt with switch cleaner might help. Not WD40 though, unless any of the real electronics gurus on here say otherwise.

Hi Bill, Watch out for those microdrive cartridges. It is possible that the foam has perished and could pretty much destroy itself when used.
