Re: sermouse. Mice & adaptors
ajb wrote Does the PE do anything with the middle mouse button? QPAC2 configuration give an option for the key used when both mouse buttons are pressed. This is effectively the key associated with the 3rd mouse button and the result depends on the mouse. With my Q60 the 3 rd mouse button is ESC, wi...

Re: Q68 Crashes
I have been running QD B.01 since this morning while working on the same SBasic program with the SBAS/QD thing in play and there has not been any crashing or other untoward events. So I am now hopeful that Per is correct and that QD B.05 and the SBAS thing and the Q68 version of smsq/e was the probl...

Re: Q68 Crashes
Hi, Thanks for the interest and responses. bwinkel67 wrote Can you clarify two things: a) how long is longish and b) what were you specifically running (i.e. which interface and were you running something you created or did it just freeze up on its own)? Longish = 3 close to 4 hours. Jobs that were ...

Q68 Crashes
Hi, Has anyone else experienced a crash on the Q68. Twice now during longish programming sessions with QD, SBasic and the SBASIC thing my Q68 has crashed. Screen resolution down from 512x384 to 512x256 and vertical flashing multi coloured lines. No options for recovery. Does the Q68 overheat?. Unlik...

Re: Q68 Serial devices
Peter wrote, It is easier to set up an I²C slave on the Raspberry and adapt my Q68 I²C master example to send your printer output via I²C. Just a three wire (two + grounded shield) cable and a C68 software project. Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think I'll be doing that soon, I have other so...

Re: Q68 Serial devices
Peter wrote "Also please tell us your target for the second serial port - it's always better to understand the application before attempting a solution." Easily is the key here as the need is minor, and it is because I am lazy. I have Q68, Q60 and Rpi. The Q68 and Q60 are connected serial...

Re: Problems with unzip (5.32 or 5.41) on QLAY2
Hi I don't know about the emulator you are using but my experience may years ago with the DP Collection with trying to unzip this on the Amiga QL emulator suggests that the problem could be the file you want to unzip. If the file has a device name embeded as part of the file name in the zip archive ...

Re: Run benchmarks and share your results
One can find some other benchmarks with QTOP http://qlheaven.blogspot.com/2017/11/q60-and-qtop-index.html and http://qlheaven.blogspot.com/2016/04/rpi-and-ql-emulator-speeds.html These are from almost 3 or 4 years ago. The Rpi now is up to version 4 with again a faster processor so it should perform...
