Re: Screen grabber
Hi Logout, There are quite a few QL apps that can convert a QL screen grab from a Q68 to PC or other format but none that I know of that will directly convert QL screen data during a screen scrape directly to a BMP or jpeg. But once a Q68 screen or part there of, is saved in pic format there are sev...

Re: Fast Plot/Draw toolkit / viepoint manual/ PD3 Manual
Hi,
Volume G of Simon Goodwins DIY toolkit has PLOT and DRAW described as fast, along with an example and a Quill doc guide.
Could this be what you are looking for? I expect that Dilwyn Jones will have this on his website.
Cheers

Re: Copy binary file into array in basic
Is "Assembly Language Programming on the Sinclair QL by Andrew Penell" a good place to start to get back into assembly programming on the QL please? Hi, I would say so as someone who mainly programs in basic and only uses assembler when forced to. I use the book as a reference when I have...

Hello,
I have a copy. The disks seem readable. Are you looking for a zipped copy of the contents?

Re: Qptr WMAN simple example
Hi Andrew, COuld you scan your manual and post it here? Your notes would be invaluable for many and would help us a lot! I am not able to do that as my scanner went belly up early this year and I have had no need to scan since, a replacement is likely to be a distant event. In any case the manual on...

Re: Qptr WMAN simple example
MINIQPTR.ZIP Hi NL_QL_USR QPTR is hard to learn. EasyPTR for me was even harder to learn. Wolfgang Lenerz series of tutorials for QPTR is extremely helpful. The QPTR manual is often obscure in its explanations of how things work. My copy of the manual, I bought into QPTR in the late 1990s and am st...

Re: Menuconfig Manual
Hi Derek,
You probably already have the manual as you supplied in the Q68 QXLwin files when I bought my Q68 from you.

Re: Q68 screen dumps
Hi, not sure if this is exactly what you want to do but attached is Scrot.zip, containing a hotkey launched utility to read the entire Q68 screen memory with an added pic header into a file on ram1_ called scrdump_pic. Which is in mode 33 the native mode on the Q68, therefore image colours do not di...

The "[+]" button is qcascade. It can be renamed and for me it is "[+]". My "SBASIC" button was "System" but I edited the QPAC2 code to make "system" in to "SBASIC". Same number of letters and Sbasic/Superbasic is not the system : that's QDO...
