Re: SMSQ/E 3.34
Hi Derek Could you be referring to 'SUSJB'? From the v3.34 source (sbsext\ext\jobs.asm), we find: * 22-11-2018 0.6 added SUSJOB (pjw) * * JOBS [#n] lists the current jobs * RJOB nr,tag, error removes a job * SPJOB nr,tag, priority sets a job's priority * SUSJB nr,tag, timeout suspends a job +ve ticks, ...

Re: Black Phoenix 1.5
Hi Norman Good luck with the X-Ray! Just to be clear, it's the version of the SMSQE binary that will determine whether or not ALPHA_BLEND is available, rather than QPC itself. There appears to be a loose dependency between the two and Marcel always packages the QPC binary with the most up to date SM...

Re: Black Phoenix 1.5
Hi again Norm I was incorrect in my earlier post - QPC.ini doesn't allow to switch SMSQE.bin - only to over-ride the Config block contained within it. If you carefully open the smsqe.bin file with a binary/hex editor in your QPC installation folder, around byte offset $60 is the SMSQ version number....

Re: Black Phoenix 1.5
That's very odd, Norman. Can you share your QPC.ini file here? It is possible in more recent versions of QPC to override the default SMSQE.bin file (default action is to look in the same folder for SMSQE) - I wonder if, even after reinstalling QPC, an older, adjusted QPC.ini file was left behind and...

Re: Black Phoenix 1.5
Hi Norman I tried BP1.5 on Linux under Wine. Looks amazing! However, there were quite a few errors popping up to say that "ALPHA_BLEND" isn't a known procedure. Where is/should it be loading from? Which version of QPC are you running under Wine/Linux? According to the QPC/SMSQ Release Note...

Hi Rich
I found a Mike Weaver online at http://www.mikeweavercommunications.co.uk and posted a query via his web-portal.
I'll let you know what I find...

Re: SGC successor brainstorming
Hi everyone If we do go for a uC to attach such things as a keyboard matrix, I'd be happy to develop the uC code. We could go with an I2C connection or else map some SRAM - perhaps dualported - and develop a protocol between the mainboard and the uC (I've been thinking about this for a while) to con...

Re: Hardware detectives for FrankenQL?
Hi Oliver Interesting! I can't readily decipher what that strip-board assembly is trying to accomplish, but the rest look like: a) EPROM converter board - I agree. Interesting approach to mounting (its quite tricky trying to mount right-ways up in the space available, so I can see why the inverted m...
