Re: Boot Q68 without monitor and keyboard

Hi, Martin. Thanks for the answer. I just tried it and indeed, no monitor need be attached. I could "simulate" the presence of a keyboard by plugging a ps2 mouse into the keyboard socket? That could damage my Q68? ( It would be great if Q68 could boot without a keyboard, ... only in "...

Boot Q68 without monitor and keyboard

Is there a way for Q68 to fully boot the operating system (SMSQE) without having the monitor and keyboard connected?

Re: QL-SD driver v1.09

With driver version 1.09, my system crashes on a Minerva system seem to have disappeared. Everything is much more stable now.

Re: SMSQ/E 3.36

I've checked again this problem in my systems.

This problem with QTimage only happens with SMSQ/E version 3.36 for Q68.

(QTImage In Q68, with SMSQ/E 3.35 or earlier versions all work fine. In QPC2, all versions of SMSQ/E, QTimage work correctly).

Best regards.

Re: Announcing availability of a QLNET driver for the Q68 (ND-Q68)

Peter, Derek, ... thank you for clarifying the status of Q60.

From what you say, it seems that the evolution of Q68 is a better strategy. A Q68 version 2 with better speed, especially in high resolution graphics, could be a very good alternative.

Best regards.

Re: Announcing availability of a QLNET driver for the Q68 (ND-Q68)

Hi, Peter. Did you try your Q60 instead of QPC? I can not see the same effect there (but my Q60 installation is rather old). Unfortunately I don't have Q40/Q60 ... :-( ... (By the way, are Q60 units still being manufactured?). Which baudrate are you using? 115200 Baud here. Yes, I use 115200 baudrat...

Re: QL news told by the Spanish community

Yes. We talk a lot about ql-sd, q68, smsq/e, multitasking, PE, etc. In general people see QL as a computer that died in 1986-87. I think people from other platforms are surprised by the evolution of the QL over the years. Derek, did you see your QLNET installation on Q68? It was very nice to see QLN...

Re: SMSQ/E 3.36

I use it with the 336mod (on QPC2) and it works well. OK, so I must have something strange in my system. In my QPC2 system with SMSQ/e 3.36 I have an error with QTImage. I have to find out what's wrong with my system. work with SGC with Aurora Thanks for the answer. (QTImage is a nice development).

Re: Announcing availability of a QLNET driver for the Q68 (ND-Q68)

Maybe try have a single FSERVE running. With one instance of FSERVE I have the same problem. Specifically, my configuration is this: QPC2: SNET 1 SERNET Q68: SNET 2 SERNET NET 2 FSERVE DEV_USE 6, s1_win2_ DEV_USE 7, s1_dos2_ DEV_USE 5, n1_flp1_ SGC QL: NET 1 FSERVE DEV_USE 6, n2_dev6_ DEV_USE 7, n2...

Re: SMSQ/E 3.36

No idea, could be SMSQ/E or could be a coincidence. You could try the versions in-between to maybe narrow it down to a specific version if it is indeed a problem in SMSQ/E. OK, I'll try the intermediate versions. Hi, which version of QTImage are you using? I'm using version 1.4. By the way, should ...
