Re: Link ASM and C code

Hi Tomas,

I would think you need to compile the Pascal or C programme to an object code module, then use the Linker to link all the object code modules to a single binary file.

I'm really interested in it (my QLs are becoming really old).

Regards,

Marc.

Re: Hello and my QL experience so far

Hi Chr$ If you need spare microdrive units, I can supply them from working QL. I personally do not use microdrives, I prefer to CF Cards or SD Cards. With regards to your monitor ptoblem, the SCART cable for the Plus3, can not hanhle the QL 85 column screen mode. You need a video upscaler, which has...

Re: Asymmetric multiprocessing...

Hi Dave,

I would not go for a CP/M system, as this is already available by software emulation.

I would like a 6502 based system to run BBC Micro software, or other 6502 systems.

Maybe just adding a Raspberry PI as a second processor to run Linux software or emukated systems.

Re: Game Over !

Hi,

If the fault is on the expansion board, I would talk to Tetroid to see if the card can be repaired.

Did you fix the bent pin on the expansion port, as this could contribute to tge fault.

Re: Help, connecting QL to BBS

Derek, I have up and running Rshell (Thierry Godefroy) BBS System on my Q68 using Retro Wifi SI and you could do the same. No need of TCPSer or other PC Internet aware, considering that with Retro Wifi SI the QL is Internet aware. The Retro WIFI is giving an IP address to the QL and is able to answ...

Hi,

Why would a static ip address be an advantage?

Re: QL Case Heat Warp

Does replacing the 7805 with a switching regulator to eliminate heat fix the problem? With the QL sat in front of you, looked at from below, the screws are: 1---2---3---4 KKKKKKKKK MM 5---6---7---8 K is behind Keyboard, M is behind Microdrives. Order was supposed to be: 5-8-1-4-7-2-6-3. With this o...

Re: Help, connecting QL to BBS

Hi, There a list of connectable of Internet BBS shown at: https://www.telnetbbsguide.com/bbs/list/detail/ My BBS ran on a QL with Qbox or Pbox as the BBS software. I thought that the BBS system had died and most SYSOPs (BBS Owners), had moved to web based systems. Which begs the question, should I g...
