Re: Today I Received...

Today I received possibly the definitive guide to 68000 hardware development for 68000 - 68030. I got a digital version this book. It seems to be freely downloadable Where? I would LOVE a searchable copy - it's become an invaluable reference. Hi Dave, The ebook is in djvu format, so not searchable....

Re: Hello and my QL experience so far

Hi,

Try using the Toolkit 2 command: WTV

Which is supossed to be kinder to TV screen, in that Channel 1 and 2 are the same dimensions.

You can switch back monitor mode with: WMON

Re: Hello and my QL experience so far

Hi,

I have a beta version of the TDI Startup kit, written by Alain Haoui.

If the official release is the same as my version. Please look in the ETC subdirectory where you will find "menuconfig"

You need the Extended Environment or Pointer Interface installed to run Menuconfig.

Re: Expanding the range of QL Adventures

Hi, I have been looking at the C source to the Scottfree Interpreter. Which is a single C file, with all the functions before the main() function. A little sloppy, but like txtElite I ported, a single C file, but worked. Do you think it worth making the Scottfree interpreter into individual functipn...

Re: Link ASM and C code

Hi Tomas,

I would think you need to compile the Pascal or C programme to an object code module, then use the Linker to link all the object code modules to a single binary file.

Re: Hello and my QL experience so far

Hi Chr$ If you need spare microdrive units, I can supply them from working QL. I personally do not use microdrives, I prefer to CF Cards or SD Cards. With regards to your monitor ptoblem, the SCART cable for the Plus3, can not hanhle the QL 85 column screen mode. You need a video upscaler, which has...

Re: Asymmetric multiprocessing...

Hi Dave,

I would not go for a CP/M system, as this is already available by software emulation.

I would like a 6502 based system to run BBC Micro software, or other 6502 systems.

Maybe just adding a Raspberry PI as a second processor to run Linux software or emukated systems.

Re: Game Over !

Hi,

If the fault is on the expansion board, I would talk to Tetroid to see if the card can be repaired.

Did you fix the bent pin on the expansion port, as this could contribute to tge fault.
