Hi Bill,

I have found some old microdrive games, Tank Busters is amongst them.

I can guarantee the integrity of the microdrive tape.

I will post a fuller list later tonight...

Re: QBase new version

Hi Daniel, I have downloaded your updates to QBase. It is good that you are continuing development of the software. I must say that I thought the early version of QBase were really good, I included this on the software package supplied with the Q60, in 2002. It does work well on the Q68, I usually u...

Hi Keith,

If no one can collect the QL, I can arrange collection, if you can get everything into box.

Re: Issue 8 discussions...

Hi,

Really disappointed about the lack production of the issue 8...

Maybe I should ressurect my olde modular QL project, or there was an idea to reproduce the Aurora from the Gerber files I have.

Re: Reset Switch

Hi,

Good news you have found the fault. This what I was saying in amother thread.

The copper insert that makes contact with the reset circuit, sometimes the contact is missing or damaged due to incorrect installation.

No amount of oil would fixed this fault.

Re: A question about my game, boxed version or just for free?

Are people fussed about being able to buy a boxed version of my game? Part of me is thinking, it will be a lot of work getting boxes, sorting labels, posted etc. At the moment, I'm half tempted just to release it for free on the forum, with all documentation etc etc. Please post with thoughts. The ...

Re: A question about my game, boxed version or just for free?

Hi,

Why not put a cut down version of the game for downloaf and sell the full version.

The problem of publishing the ACT code, that ACT is still commerical and not officially availanle to all QL users.

Personally, I bought the DP Collection and use ACT on the Q68.

Re: MAB 8049H P A038 comapible?

Hi,

Very interesting read, but it does not say that Laurnce Reeves produced a debugged more efficient version of the 8049 called Hermes.

Personally, I would use Hermes over the 8049, it works better in the QL and is still available on Sellyouretro.
