Re: QPTR Toolkit Window Redefine

Hi,

I think you are correct, in that EasyPTR is the seat way to do to resize a PE window.

I was just trying to understand the QPTR Toolkit documentation.

QPTR Toolkit Window Redefine

Hi, I have been looking at the QPTR Toolkit, which has some example programmes to open a QPTR Window, place some loose items, allow moving of the primary window. I do not see an QPTR Toolkit function to allow changing the dimensions of the primary window. I thought about changing tge initial paramet...

Re: Help with Composite out

Hi, I have a Retroshack SCART cable for the QL, which uses the QL RGB connections, it gives a nice display on a SCART based TV, but in monitor mode there are columns missing due the tge QL overscan. I thought a SCART to HDMI converter would do tge job, but I have tried many of these SCART2HDMI conve...

Re: My Q68 configuration

I have a net cable from the Aurora. I wonder if this is suitable. Hi, The Aurora net cable requires a 47R resistor in the line that goes to the Q68 QLNET Connector, also a Schokkty diode is required to +3.3v. The connection to the Q68 expansion bus needs a 2x12 2mm pitch connector. I have only rece...

Re: Floppy Disk Drive Options?

Hi,

The disk drives look nice, but at £69.99 plus shipping is expensive, there seems to no bulk order price reduction.

I did think of building twin disk drives similiar to the Miracle twin drives.

The case is simple Anodized steel construction, with adpated PC disk drives to suit the QL.

Hi,

Looks a nice design, can insert 2 holes for the QL LAN Connectors?

Rectangular LEDs are available as standard parts from any Electronics Supplier.

Re: P.I. Cole - noir detective game RELEASED

Hi, I always use Toolkit 2 enabled, usually the first command in a boot file, which sets the default devices with DAR_USE, PROG_USE. Toolkt 2 is built into SMSQ/E, Super Gold Card command AUTOTK2F1 allows automatic Toolkit 2 enable. The FTEST function is nothing to directories, only allows testing f...

Re: Free Circuit Analysis Software

Hi Norm,

I tried this on MX Linux, the 32bit version of MicroCap 12 work great under Wine, and updates OK.

I usual use KiCad and gEDA with the circuit analysis tools that come with them or can be used long side them.

It would be handy to have QL version of this as well.
