Re: International Cricket by Nigel Holder

Hi chaps. I was in the garage yesterday and spotted an old QL in a box, which later inspired me to return to this forum. I wish I had seen this thread sooner, last year I was looking for a screenshot of my cricket game to show to a friend. I totally forgot about the darts game I wrote all those yea...

Re: What to do in this Corona time

Without meaning to belittle your performance, what microphone are you using in the video?

(interested because of my broadcasting days in the past).

Re: Nostalgic Item

He he. But of more interest to me, just what sort of resolution do you use QPC2 in, stretched out across 3 monitors like that? :ugeek:

Nostalgic Item

While tidying a drawer today, I found something which brought back memories of the "QL Is 21" event in Portsmouth, England on 29/30th October 2005. Seems so long ago now! Some memorabilia gifts were issued to visitors at that event - here's a picture of one of them, an item I'd forgotten I...

Re: QLiberator v3.38

You would be very welcome to use my SCRXLIM/SCRYLIM extension in QLib if it does what's needed of it. I'm afraid I don't know how QDOS on uQLx handles the bigger-than-512x256 screens, hence my note of caution. I suspect that the worst that would happen if there was no PE on uQLX running QDOS is that...

Re: Ralf playing a genuine drumkit from Mick Tucker

Now we know what Ralf looks like. :D I used to like The Sweet. Teenage Rampage was the first single I bought with my pocket money. £0.50 it cost me, from Boots the Chemist Cheers, Norm. I didn't know Ralf was a drummer, now we know what he does when he's not using his QL (or when Brigitte is watchi...

A friend at school suggested I listen to them when they brought out the single Blockbuster, then Hellraiser. No g...

Re: QL Jokes

I take it that's a, err, "shell" for QDOS, Cristian

(well, I thought it was a good "yolk" anyway...)

I'll, umm, leave quietly now.
