Re: QLiberator decompiler

I don't see a big list of names like PRINT,WINDOW,OPEN in the source code. So I guess it's in one of the loaded SuperBASIC extensions. I think, this list (you mean the list at the bottom of the compiled program?) shows every name/keyword, which is used in the program. With the original QLIB_obj ver...

Re: QLiberator decompiler

I am using QLiberator version 3.36.
When I compile, in the top right-hand corner I get the message version 3.35
I've just tried compiling a program with a REMark $$chan=9
and QLiberator reports: Highest channel : 9

Re: QLiberator decompiler

The manual says: "The minimum size of a channel table is 3 entries, for channels 0, 1 and 2" - so its the actual number of channels that need to be given. CMD$ is initially set up by QLiberator as a variable to read the incoming Option command string and can be used as a normal variable af...

I've attached my "once" program. What it can do is to identify any names used once only - which could be misspellings. It has to be run in QPC2 as it uses the functions DEVTYPE, SCR_XLIM and SCR_YLIM, which are only available in SMS. I hope this helps. Best of luck.

Re: Controlling DIR scrolling

Instead of using KEYROW, an INKEY$ loop could be used to suck these unwanted characters out ...

Code: Select all

DIR win1_
REPeat exhaust : IF INKEY$ = "" : EXIT exhaust
PRINT #0,"All clear"

Re: Controlling DIR scrolling

It would appear that the use of KEYROW doesn't actually work. I tried the following ... 100 DIR win1_ 110 dummy = KEYROW(0) 120 PRINT #0,"All clear" The typed in characters are appearing after the All clear message. It's beginning to look like the only way would be to avoid using TK2 and d...

Re: Controlling DIR scrolling

Hi chr$,

I've had this problem myself. The extraneous keys are coming from TK2, and they get stored in #0's input buffer. dummy = KEYROW(0) should work a treat.

If you would like to give us your listing, that would be interesting, and we could then perhaps make some further comments.

Re: Hex Compiling

There's an utility somewhere on Per's site (just recently re-opened), I believe, that replaces all hexadecimal constants in S*Basic programs with decimals for compilation. Should come in handy here. Yes, I've found it here ... http://www.knoware.no/ It can be found under ENTER / GO SUB / DeHex It l...
