5.25" floppy drive configuration

I'm making some tests with a Fujitsu 5.25" floppy drive. It works with Windows XP, and also with Qemulator. It is possible to format, read and write 720K Qdos disks without any problem. An oddity: if jumpered as DS0, it becomes undetectable both in WinXP and QL; anyway, when jumpered as DS1 it ...

Great!!
So, it would be nice if you add your mouses info and/or pictures to the "compatible mice list" topic, if you can :)

Re: n00b question about the mouse and QL/E for TDI

or this one ? https://imgur.com/BOzpR7V This second one, which is related to SER2. If I remember well, you should really connect the mouse to SER2. The mouse works quite well, considering its age and the normal issues due to the dust on the rubber ball. I utilize the latest Sermouse version (sorry ...

Re: QemuLator for Windows 3.3

That's easy for you to say but very difficult to actually do. Well, it's not so easy to say actually. I'm (at least partially) aware of the very hard work needed, and I respect and admire whoever does it. I was only meaning that the utility of supporting old OSs exists (even if it's not always poss...

Re: n00b question about the mouse and QL/E for TDI

I newer tought that having a mouse working on a QL could be so challenging. If this may help, there is a topic about Sermouse compatible mice. There is a link and some photos. The list is rather short for the moment, but I hope it will increase. https://www.qlforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=319...

Re: Color cycling in the QL with RECOL

Thank you for sharing your interesting concept. I had a similar idea some time ago, but then I abandoned it because RECOL is really slow on real hardware, even with Supergoldcard.
Has anyone tried with other machines (Aurora, Q68...)? Does the program run smoothly?

Concerning retro computing, I think it is also important to support OSs capable of running on slow machines and handling old hardware. Modern PCs lack floppy drives, parallel / serial ports and so on.
