Re: PSU alternative?

This is not so easy to answer - it depends a lot on the "stiffness" of your power supply under load. Power supplies are typically reted at a voltage that can be maintained under a typical load - Note, what you would measure on an unknown PSU is the open circuit voltage which is typically ...

Re: All RAM chips destroyed??

---Repair progress update--- The MC1377P RGB to PAL/NTSC (highlighted in yellow) has been swapped/tested with another QL (iss.6). It seems to work normally. The working MC1377P from the functional QL does not affect the behaviour of the faulty QL. Even if the MC1377P still gets warmer in the faulty ...

Re: Gotek drive in ql help needed

Re: Floppy Drive inside Microdrive Slot

The drive needed an external power supply, as we thought the QL PSU was not powerful to power the 3.5" floppy drive. The end result worked well, but only a single drive, no real expansion for multiple floppy drives. I think it would be more feasible to install a floppy drive emulator. Somethin...

But be careful: not all the serial mice are compatible with a bbQL. I tried some before find the right one.
