Re: Command line parameters

In a case like this, after initialising the procedures, the machine is basically in a crashed state and anything could happen. I cant promise the fix will solve everything, but it is necessary and a good place to start ;) Changing the numbers of Procedures, and the number of Functions. Seems to hav...

Re: Command line parameters

Thus in your case the number of procs should be (9+11+7+8+6)/7 = 6 - not 4. Ive burnt myself on this a number of times. There is a nice macro, part of the smsq/e sources, called dev8_mac_proc. It takes out all the hassle of working it out every time you make a change. Per Thanks I'll give that a tr...

Re: Command line parameters

A bit of an update. I've been doing some tests to try to narrow down the problem. I've assembled my modified version of the command (see my previous post), and I'm still getting crashes when SBASIC daughter jobs are started. I usually use QPC2 v3.30, but I am also getting similar problems with QPC2 ...

Re: Command line parameters

Thanks to fro,pjw and Norman. My query about clearing up the maths stack, is that I have a procedure that takes three strings, (one being a filename) which are read and placed on the maths stack. after processing the strings, I was adjusting the maths stack pointer to clear them before returning to ...

Command line parameters

In a machine code procedure/function I would like to be able to enter a filename without it being in quotes. For example COMMAND win2_SomeFileName rather than COMMAND "win2_SomeFileName" I know you need to examine, and alter the Type word in the Name Table, and alter the entry in the Name ...

Re: Digital Precision Limited Software

Hmm yes we need the manual - the problem is that it will be in Perfection format - it needs converting to PDF - I know you can do it via QPCPrint, but I am not sure if that will create a searchable PDF ... Bit of a roundabout solution, but you could print out the manual from Perfection, and then sc...

Re: Digital Precision Limited Software

Does anyone have: a) A scanned manual for Desktop Publisher b) A better scanned manual for Desktop Publisher Special Edition (and the software)? c) A better scanned manual for Professional Publisher? I've got the disk based manual for "Professional Publisher DTP System". That came with DP...

Re: QPC2 and physical flp1_

In the screen shot it shows 'format flp1_' with no medium name supplied. Do you get the same problem when you supply a medium name? e.g. 'format flp1_test'. QPC2 v4 supports floppy disk image files. What if use a PC program to convert the disk created by the QL+Gold card into a image files, and then...
