Re: Gotek + Flashfloppy: How-to.

My FDI driver http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/utils/FDI2driver204.zip can create ED images with the MAKE_FDI command

MAKE_FDI win1_test_img,TestED,e

Creates an image file on WIN1_, with a medium name of 'TestED'. The image file should be about 3.2Mb

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver

Something that has been nagging at the back of my mind, is that I may be crashing the supervisor stack, by over filling it with subroutine calls. I think there are only 64 bytes available on the supervisor stack. I am pretty sure I have done this before on this project. Like tofro said, the supervi...

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver

Thanks Martin for the excellent documentation. I was able to successfully run QBOX as Telnet server on the Q68. Couldn't get QLTerm to work as Telnet client though, and I got some lockups too. In any case, this is a major step forward for the Q68. I had a Wireshark dump from Monday when I had a sys...

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver

Here is version 0.22 of the Q68 Ethernet driver. The TCP server side has been implemented. So you can now use FSERVE on this version. If you use QPAC2's 'Channels', details of the open Ethernet channels are displayed (routines courtesy of Wolfgang Lenerz) I have not done a lot of testing, but I did ...

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver

The Q68 QoE ethernet driver works well as far I have tested it, looking forward for next versions :) I have been having some problems with the closing of TCP connections when the Q68 is the server. I encountered a problem I had not seen before, where both sides of the TCP connection tries to initia...

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver

Hi Martin, I have successfully installed your driver to my Q68. When started, everything initialize correctly. I am able to ping other computers on my local network and ping the Q68 from them. However I have not been successful of communicating with QPC on my laptop. I am pretty sure it is because ...

Re: Ethernet for the QL

From a very quick digest of the datasheet for the CP2200, the places where a timer may be required: Waiting for initialization after clock stabilized - this could be done simply by checking the interrupt flags to see if we got that interrupt or not - and wait on an interrupt polling loop until it w...

Re: Ethernet for the QL

Sorry, I forgot that. A high resolution timer should not be required in principle, wouldn't an interrupt-driven 50 Hz counter be sufficient for your driver?) Off hand I can't remember all the places I use the hardware timer. But I know I use it in the CP2200 initialization. And without looking at t...

Re: Ethernet for the QL

The only change to make the Q68 ethernet driver work for a QL is probably the address space. At least a memory expansion is required for the driver. And keep in mind the QL is a slow machine. Less than a Gold Card system would result in data rates only moderately faster than QL network. The Q68 Eth...

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver

Hi, Why not use Ex_ for the ethernet device driver, which differentiate tge Ethernet from the QLNET. If anyone fancies having a try, The source code of the IP Network driver is on Dilwyn's web site. You would have to rename the four devices (although you might not have to rename the, I think it was...
