Re: QLiberator v3.38

EmmBee, Martin, There is still a problem with EXT_xxx, but the symptoms have shifted a bit. Take the following program: 10 REMark $$asmb=ram1_QLTST_BIN,0,10 20 : 30 EXT_PROC 'MY_PROC' 40 EXT_FN 'MY_FUN%' 50 : 60 MY_PROC 70 QUIT MY_FUN%(99) (MY_PROC does nothing and MY_FUN% just returns the integer ...

Re: 5.25" floppy drive configuration

So it's a 1.2M drive. I'm going to assume that you are using 1.2M disks Just to clarify: even if I have a couple of 1.2MB diskettes, I'm utilizing disks (I suppose from Commodore 64) which I am not able to format at 1.2MB with PC/MS-DOS/Windows, but only at 720K or 360K. They can be filled of .jpg ...

Re: 5.25" floppy drive configuration

So it's a 1.2M drive. I'm going to assume that you are using 1.2M disks, rather than 360K disks in the drive. or I would expect that you would get formats of 360K. I'm guessing that Windows is formatting the disks as 1.2M, but the emulator only uses 720K of it. And the emulator does not care about t...

Re: 5.25" floppy drive configuration

I'm making some tests with a Fujitsu 5.25" floppy drive. It works with Windows XP, and also with Qemulator. It is possible to format, read and write 720K Qdos disks without any problem. An oddity: if jumpered as DS0, it becomes undetectable both in WinXP and QL; anyway, when jumpered as DS1 it...

Re: Assembler Worbench Maual

Hi, As I said, I have read all the documentation in the downloadable files. The manual_txt file in the Quanta Talent Assembler Workbench v2.2 does not gives much in the way of configuration, there is mention of FCOM files which configure the programme. I suppose setup FCOM could be passed in the co...

Re: New QLiberator v3.37

Impressive! Still working on the issue with different output of V3.36 and V3.37. Thats to say, Im producing the problem and Martin has been trying to solve it! My biggest wish for a Qlib update is for a $30 char job name length! I would think that's possible. But you may have to have a special runt...

Re: Digital C SE Foibles on QPC2

I know nothing about C, so this might be a stupid suggestion. What could be happening, Is that when you execute the program. A window is drawn, "Hello World!" is printed. The window is closed. Then SMSQ/E restores the background, making the window disappear. All this happening before you c...

Re: QLiberator decompiler

I disassembled the start of the object code. I know its unlikely to answer why my program crashed, but it is interesting that V3.36 and V3.36x - which are supposed to be the same program should produce such different results using the identical input (sav) file: Here is the original: . . and here i...

Re: QLiberator decompiler

Martin, there may be an issue with the decompiler: Theres a program I have that compiles and runs perfectly with Qlib 3.36, but if I use your decompiled Qlib 3.36, it errors when run. The funny thing is that the temporary wrk file compiles and runs ok, but if I QSAVE the file from SMSQ/E and compil...
