Re: QLUB Adapter - Initial Release...

Whilst I do not believe that attempting to mimic FSERVE outside of QDOS/SMSQe is a particularly viable option (I could explain why if interested), development of a an FTP-like solution to allow easier browsing and download of files by a native QL from a repository hosted and shared-out via the QLUB...

Re: Show us your kit!

I also have a Q68 (as you can see in the pic) Thanks for the pics. Sad to see that the sides of the Q68 front and back panel have already lost the black colour. The same happened to the one I got from Derek, but not to the one I painted myself. So it probably depends on the kind of paint. An improv...

Re: Next Gen QL…

I had thoughts about a Q60Cube, but it seemed that I was too late as Apple had got there first. Apple never got there, nor the NeXT. 68040 was end of line for all of them. That's why we put quite some effort into running a native 68K Mac Emulation on the Q60. Unfortunately, it never ran bare metal,...

Re: Dhrystone benchmark QL vs Amiga

It is not so important with which compiler the QL dhrystone benchmark was generated, as long as it runs on Amiga with QDOS Classic or Amiga QDOS. What I'm looking for: A comparison to sysinfo on the same Amiga hardware. Preferrably a 68060 based Amiga hardware, but 68040 system would also give a rou...

Re: Upgrading Q40 to 68060 CPU

The oscillator frequency can be 60.0 MHz or 66.0 MHz depending on jumper setting. For the 68060RC50A CPU you apparently had ordered, I would recommend 60.0 MHz.

Re: sQLux v1.0 (The Xmas Turkey)

Is there a bug in the emulator because it looks like if the system ROM image is 48K it doesn't work? Are you aware that uQLx / sQLux are not exactly QL hardware emulators, but make assumptions about the OS? One can not just take any ROM that runs in a QL and expect it will be emulated correctly. I ...
