Fleet tactical command

Who is d..3? Will d..3 share scans of manuals and maps, or content of diskettes? And, what is the status of FTC - is it free, abandoned, or still commercial? https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Vintage-Sinclair-QL-Software-Fleet-Tactical-Command-by-Di-Ren-/283902361083?_trksid=p2047675.m43663.l10137&nordt=t...

Re: I haven't seen one of these before.

This is not intended for QL, but for ZX Spectrum 128.
UK version exists (search for "ZX Spectrum keypad"), but the spanish one is more common.

Re: 5.25" floppy drive configuration

QL FDD controllers (at least Miracle's ones) can not handle 1.2MB 5.25" floppy drives. 1.2 MB 5.25" (high density) FDD has 360 RPM (same as 8"), while 3,5 " FDD (in IBM PC - Japanese computers as Sharp X68000 or PC-98 being an exception) and 360/720 K (double/quad density) FDDs ...

Re: 5.25" floppy drive configuration

Still, I don't know what should I do with these termination resistors... Same as on SCSI. Remove on the thru device, keep them in place on the last device. (Excepting 3,5" drive). http://www.minuszerodegrees.net/diskette/5.25_floppy_drive_termination.jpg or https://retrocmp.de/fdd/general/resi...

Re: QubATA

From the manual:
"With the 3.10 version, the driver has the ability to be started as WIN or QUB driver. If the driver was
configured/started as QUB driver (and not as default WIN), please replace any WIN reference by QUB
everywhere in the following sections."
Possibly THIS is the problem?

Yes.
The proper command is TK2_EXT.
