Re: sQLux Foibles

Hi, Thankyou for the information. I wanted a quiet option when the emulator starts up. Hence -v 0 The reason for asking, is that I sometimes write Superbasic in vim or nano, then load the programme into sQLux, to run. I hope that I vould write a BASH script to exrcute sQLux with the comand line poin...

Re: Hermes status

Hi Marcel, There is also https://www.kilgus.net/ql/eprommer-ii/ . KiCad sources already included. But all must be heavily adapted for the 8749 to work. I am sorry I forgot about your Eprom Programmer, I will see if I can make some PCBs. One minor point, do you not run an ERC check, ther looks to be ...

Re: Index Sequential Access Method (ISAM)

Hi,

I used to have some Quasar software, which I will have to look at some floppy disks.

Can DBAS not be programmed to ISAM routines?

HI,

There is another option, the Eprommer by Jan Bredenbeek, which is publically available, including the source code, at: https://github.com/janbredenbeek/EPROMmer

Just need a PCB layout, I was always going make one, I will do KiCad project for it.

Re: Hermes status

Hi,

I can programme the Hermes chips on a HiLo Systems All03a connected to a DOS based PC.

I also have an old Willems Programmer 3b PCB, but never tried it.

Re: Hermes status

HI,

Assuming Hermes is now GPL, here is the Hermes distribution, with the Hermes v2.2 rom image, only 2K in size.

Re: DIY keyboard

HI,

I used a 1N4148 Signal Diode, the idea is to join to signals to a switch but not short them out.

The diode stops reverse signal flow.

Would join 2 connections to one switch without shorting out the source.

I tried some ASCII art, but the Forum software seems to strip out white spaces.

But 2 things struck me, the new socket is not tge same heighg of the old socket and the new socket is not Red. Fitting the new socket willl make the height of the CPU th...
