Re: Proposal about the file system

Hi,

Just some questions:

What are the proposals for the new file system?

Long file names?

What database would be used?

Who would make these changes?

What operating system?

How would these changes affect older QL Roms JS etc...

Re: Issues and questions.

Hi, I have looked the OSSC project looks a good project with alot of valuable features. The down side is the price, I think £66 for a Dual Layer PCB and £165 for built board, is too expensive I have downloaded the PCB KICAD files, to see why the PCB is so expensive. The PCB looks nothing special to ...

Re: New QL backplane.

Hi,

I got my money returned.

I was hoping to build the backplanes, but this got taken away and it looks like now no progress.

If the PCBs or design files were available I could build them easily.

Re: Test if a directory exists

Hi,

I use the Toolkit 2 Function FTEST which tests for the existence of a file.

Since a directory is a file with type 255, then using:

PRINT FTEST("win1_dir")

would produce 0 if the directory / file exists or -7 if not exists.

Then use FTYP to test for the file type.

Re: EasyPTR C Library

Hi Kevin,

I have downloaded the latest version, looks really good.

It solves a few problems I had with EasyPTR when I tried to use C68 to try programme Pointer programmes.

Re: EasyPTR C Library

Hi, I checked my printed copy of the manual supplied by Qbranch, I do not have Part 3, I remember asking Roy Wood about the documentation for Part 3 at a Quanta Workshop. Which he said it was not required. So I have only looked at the Include files on the Part 3 Disk. Thank you for supplying the mis...

Re: QL alive with Qubide and ROM switcher light question

Hi,

I have a 1Gb DOM, which was working on a similiar interface made by José Leandro, which used Qubide v1.56

I will fit the DOM to the Tetroid Version of the intrrface that runs QubATA.

I also use Tetroid Rom Switcher inteface.
