Re: QDOS gcc made easy (docker stylee)

Hi, I installed Docker on my Linux Mint 18.3 x64 laptop, pulled the xora/qdos-gcc image down. I tried to compile the example hello_c file, but it would only compile when I changed the -u statement to root. The resultant object file"hello" was created with ownership to root, which I changed...

Re: Cross-Chase

Hi,

Could a standard container be created for Docker that can run QDOS-GCC?

Or maybe port over ncurses to C68.

Re: C68 function itoa

Hi,

The itoa function is defined in "stdlib.h"

Have you included the stdlib.h begore the main() function.

The C68 documentation says:

char * itoa (int number, char * target)

looks two parameters: number and pointer to target

Re: Cross-Chase

Hi Fabrizio, I had a read of your documentation on the GitHub website, probably the easiest way to get Cross-Chase running on the QL would be to use "ncurses" library. The QL ANSI C compiler C68 only has "curses" library available. Can Cross-Chase use "curses" or does n...

Re: Cross-Chase

Hi,

Would compiling the game with C68 in QL environment be more effective than using QDOS-GCC.

I did look at trying to port the game to the QL using C68. But got stuck with the screen driver code.

I will revisit thd game code and see if I can get the game ported.

Re: Q68 Order Process

Hi,

There is no real need to use an SD Card to transfer files to the Q68.

One option is to use a standard Null Modem cable connecting the Q68 serial port to a PC serial port.

Use QPC2 on the PC and connect ti the Q68 via SerNET, using QPAC2 Files Thing.

Re: Problem with making partitions

Hi Juan,

I did have problems with JM Roms, JS seems to be better. But Minerva works better.

Re: Problem with making partitions

Hi, What system are you using? As the CF card formatted can is not interchangeable, as one uses QubATA on the Tetroid interface based on Qubide 2.02 and the Jose Leandro interface used Qubide v1.56. I have both interfaces, so can test this out. I had problems with JM Roms, I had to use Minerva or JS...

Re: Q68 Order Process

Derek The only comment / suggestion I would make is restructuring the two interfaces. QLE and QDock use different file stores. This has caused me a little confusion. I believe that the boot systems could load their programs and then attach the same file store to allow access to all of the programs....
