Re: ST Basic - inspired by QDOS?

Hi,

When I used to use an Atari ST, I would use GFAor HiSoft Basic, these are nmuch better development platforms.

However fitting an Extended 4 QL Emulator board, made the Atari much more interesting to use.

Re: Q68 Software SD Card

Hi Chr$, The image file is a direct copy of the Q68 Distribution SDHC Card, withe FAT32 and Fat partitions setup. I use WIN32DiskImager to create the SDHC Card image. To write new SDHC Card images, I just select the correct image file and use the Write option. Which should overwrite all the partitio...

Re: EJC (C-Compiler) experiments

Hi, I have a disk with the full workable version of EJC, which will only work if Metacomco C development system is integrated into EJC. Since Metacomco C is still commercial and can not be distributed, unless the status has changed. As Peter indicates, C68 is more developed and better supported. May...

Re: QL-SD

Hi, I have changed my vote, after a little thought, I think with ful size SDHC cards would be better. As stated above this gives compatibility with other QL based systems, like the Q68 which has 2 SDHC Slots, PC with QPC2/ SMSQmulator. Also all my PCs and laptop have full size SD Slots. So my vote i...

Re: QL-SD

This thread exists to collect some opinions on QL-SD. To me QL-SD is the best mass storage solution for the QL, hands down. Peter's design was clever and my core improvements along with Wolfgang's and my excellent WIN driver brought it to perfection. Other people apparently think that too as I get ...

Re: Aurora somewhere?

Hi, I have some faulty Aurora boards, which I am in the process of repairing. I can upload a photograph if required. I have also generated a PCB file in Altium Designer, so in principle, I could create Gerber files for construction of more Aurora PCBs. I have not import and linked the Aurora Schemat...

Re: Q68 support thread

I thought one had to be German to care so much about a definition, but I stand corrected :D Either German and/or a software developer and/or computer geek. Wish I hadn't resurrected this thread now ;) Hi Chr$, I would worry about off-topic thread corruption, this seems to be a symtom of the Forum. ...
