I saw this today and given that it's based on a 68008 thought that it might be of some interest here.

Re: Anyone for Object Oriented coding on the QL?
What did you have in mind? Bring down this evil government and restore truth, justice, and all things good? :D Oh, you mean re FreePascal? ;) I was just wondering how far the cross compiler had got in terms of whether it was at a point where it could be used to build useful applications. Seems like...

Re: Anyone for Object Oriented coding on the QL?
I'm a big fan of OOP, probably because the first OOP language I learnt was Smalltalk (on OS/2) which is so elegant. Re: Today I Received...

Standout articles are: * the tech tips section that has lots of peripherial news includuing almost 2 full pages onn the vDrive (Speccy and QL discussed), an ethernet ...

Re: BionicPup Linux Installing packages
I've never used a PuppyLinux derivative (which I am assuming this is?) AFAIK, Linux packages tend to get installed into /usr/local and then symbolic links (aliases) for things like binaries and config files are placed in eg /usr/bin and /etc But from my limited experience of Linux, this varies a bit...

I had a few problems posting that reply - I got text repeating and missing etc. Have tidied it up and I hope it's now OK

Re: SMSQE on Raspberry pi 400
Caveat: This is all from memory, so things may break. Let me know if so and I'll try to fill in the blanks/correct anything Also, I am using Ubuntu MATE 64bit - I assume you are using 32bit Raspian / Raspberyy Pi OS? This may have a bearing, I am not sure. OK, so first off the version of the OpenJDK...
