Given the vast number of disc/memory/back plane/CapsLEDs/etc, probably 1/infinity!

Re: Knoware.no

Afternoon All, I originally wrote that "Assembly language is very, very simple" because it is. Each instruction is a single small step on the way to a journey of 1,000 miles -- or to the end of a working, useful program. ;) It is, as someone pointed out, a problem to put the steps together...

Re: Happy Birthday!

What are the odds, in a room full of QL people, that two will have the same birthday!

Happy birthday gents.

Cheers,
Norm.

PS. The odds are, 50-50 with only 23 people. Check this out for why: https://betterexplained.com/articles/un ... y-paradox/ and then, lose your mind! :D

Re: Wrist Rest Gel

WD-40 is supposed to be able to remove silicone sealant. I've never tried as I suspect it leaves the sink etc unable to adhete to new silicone. It's very good at getting sticky black mastic from carpets though -- and I've done that!

Norm.

Re: Knoware.no

By the way these questions are rhetorical. I need no reply. I was just about to start typing ...... ;) s$ = JUST$(jst%, width%, text$) Justify text in a field Just wondering, what would you expect to see in the docs for such a construct? I write stuff, manuals, even a book, but I'm interested in kn...

Re: Knoware.no

One can see that I have no idea how to post SB source or object code. I can't find instructions on how to do this on this forum. I fixed it for you! (With the use of my moderator's hat!) To format code, simply press the "Code" button on the toolbar just above the edit window. Then type or...

Re: SuperCharge source code

Speaking as someone facinated by compilers (and emulators), I'd like to see the SuperCharge source code. Just for a bedtime read you understand! ;)

It would be interesting to see what changes were made to the inner working nd how different it is to Turbo.

Chers,
Norm.

I'm pretty sure everyone is aware Derek. Keep up the good work -- when you find the time.

PS. Don't get a puppy, you won;t have any time at all, even for sleeping!
