Re: Sir Clive passed away.

In a word, bugger!

Without my zx81, spectrum and ql, I'd never have got the jobs I've had, my wife or our company. I owe him a lot.

Gutted.

Re: ULA1 nextgen idea...

If it works, it would surely delight Sir Clive. One thing I learned recently about Sir Clive, once a project is designed and into production, he's off onto the next one, and doesn't really care much at all about what came before. It's almost like getting really excited about having kids and then no...

Re: ULA1 nextgen idea...

Define, for the sake of your argument, what the Raspberry Pi is not suitable for, because to me, it's a small, single board Linux computer. Computer being the operative word, it's suitable for a multitude of things and while possibly not a complete desktop replacement, it's certainly a fun bit of k...

Right! In that case then, where's the tin foil? I need to make a hat! ;)

Re: The QL UDG Playground

Don't let Brane2 know you wrote something useful in SuperBASIC, he won't be impressed! :D He's apparently not a fan of any BASIC version.

Not that I'm saying he's not entitled to an opinion of course, he certainly is. I'm just having a bit of fun.

Re: The QL UDG Playground

Hi Andrew,

it's not something I would use, probably, I don;t really do games and such like, but I have to say, those screenshots look absolutely stunning!

Cheers,
Norm.
