Latest version of NameCheck. Not many changes to the program itself, mainly increased dataspace, with substantial changes to the namessc_txt file list of keywords. Many additions, and some corrections.

Cheers,
Norm.
I'm sure the Dunbars will love him. Likely to have quite a Crush(er) on Wesley?

If anyone still interested, please ask me for a new link - just in case.
I took the liberty of adding the Dattel manual to my website for posterity - http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/manuals/index.html#Dattel

Re: tools_rext
Thanks to Markus in Switzerland, I now know it was a small toolkit which Oliver Fink used in some of his programs, e.g. his pointer driven font editor. I don't have documentation, but I can look at the tools_rext file now to find out what's procedures and what's functions (8 procs - RESET PURGE USE ...

Re: Happy Birthday!
Happy $ 3D (% 00111101) birthday Norm!
I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere.
EDIT: That was interesting - forum refused to accept the hex and binary until I put a space after the $ and %! Kept refusing with a 403 error until I added the spaces.

Re: tools_rext
My first assumption was that it was probably a merged toolkit as tofro suggested. I don't have a copy, it's just that it's listed in the names list for NameCheck, which I've been updating. The original list came from Wolfgang's site (it's either the same or derived from a similar one on my site). Un...

tools_rext
I'm trying to find which toolkit this is.
It has a filename of tools_rext and contains the following extensions:
CAPSLOCK, CHAN_B%, CHAN_L, CHAN_W%, CHECK%, CHECKF, EDLINE$, KEYBOARD, LOWER$, NET%, PEEK_$, POKE_$, PURGE, QDOS$, QPTR$, REPLACE, RESET, UPPER$, USE

Re: Couple of recent mdv discoveries
Excellent discoveries! I wonder if C L Lang might be the same C Lang who produced the Lang Video Digitiser hardware for the QL many years ago? https://qlwiki.qlforum.co.uk/doku.php?id=qlwiki:lang_digitiser&s[]=lang&s[]=digitiser Regarding the Eidersoft title, would it be possible ...

Eggsactly. Plenty of yokes possible - Cristian must have shelled out a lot for all the colour.
First glance, I thought it was a new QL game, along the lines of Simon Says - try to click on the blue egg or something.
