QLirc v2

I've attached an early preview of version 2 of QLirc. This is very much a work in progress and should be regarded as an early alpha test version. Tim Swenson's original QLirc demo originally released here was taken and developed with his blessing, thanks Tim. I've enhanced the program now to the poi...

Re: Free working QL and broken 512k RAM expander

In the next few weeks Ill be launching a not for profit and open soure project on either kickstarter or indiegogo. Aim is to crowd fund and crowd develop a range of materials to reduce contagion in shared spaces - deployable in a variety of settings. Could likely be extended to trap undesirable stu...

Re: KryoFlux USB floppy controller

Not directly related to the original title of this thread, as others have shared their floppy disc information, here's my contribution. I have two USB floppy drives, the first an unbranded Chinese one just vaguely marked "FD-05PUB" (identified by Windows as a "Mitsumi USB FDD 061M&quo...

Re: Game creation book for QL?

Worth adding here perhaps a couple of caveats about fonts. Most fonts have characters in a set range, say space (CHR$ 32) up to copyright (CHR$ 127). But such fonts will have a default character too, whichis usually one character code lower than the first character. The standard QL font, for example...

Re: International Cricket by Nigel Holder

International Cricket and Bullshot are available on games page of my website http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/games/index.html (Bullshot is under "Darts"). Do both/either of those versions require more than 128k RAM? Not had time to check. In the cricket zip file, one of the files is marked as cri...

Re: International Cricket by Nigel Holder

Hi chaps. I was in the garage yesterday and spotted an old QL in a box, which later inspired me to return to this forum. I wish I had seen this thread sooner, last year I was looking for a screenshot of my cricket game to show to a friend. I totally forgot about the darts game I wrote all those yea...

Re: What to do in this Corona time

Without meaning to belittle your performance, what microphone are you using in the video?

(interested because of my broadcasting days in the past).
