Re: SMSQ/E keyboard tables for BBQL

The article itself was published in IQLR volume 5 issue 1 (May/June 1995) but unfortunately they forgot to include the LANG_bas program at the end of the article. A little bit of searching for a correction eventually found it in the January/February 1996 issue, which I've scanned and attached. I hav...

Re: SMSQ/E keyboard tables for BBQL

There is a pair of articles on my website about adding SMSQ/E modules and language modules to the operating system: http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/smsqegd2/smsqmodu.zip Also worth looking at Wolfgang Lenerz's Clavier program http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/misc/clavier.zip which can help with building SMSQ/E ...

Re: QPC2 on Second Screen

Thanks XorA. That works as long as the hires screen remains the primary screen. Good enough for what I wanted to do.

QPC2 on Second Screen

Something I've only just noticed this morning in trying to use QPC2 (v4.05, Windoze 10) on a second display on this PC is that it seems it can only be set to the maximum resolution of the primary display. The laptop screen is 1366 x 768 and the second screen is 1920x1080. Neither the startup configu...

Re: XTC68 C Cross compiler

Evening Dilwyn, The link to github is to the original repository by Stronnag (https://github.com/stronnag/xtc68). That version doesn't have XorA's bug fix for the problem with as68's stack trashing error. It might be worth while, if and when you get some spare time, to link to the version in the Si...

Could this be linked to a website where one would usually look when searching for XTC68?
e.g. http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/c/index.html ? Dilwyn?

Added a link to it from that page.

Re: GET and BGET from channel

Screen dump looks good! Good luck finishing that program. Let us know how it goes. So my memory didn't do too bad for Turbo TK extensions then (given that i'm on a ferry back after a long day in Ireland - and while there i got to meet former QL trader Darren Branagh, the Q-Celt himself!! ) :geek: To...

Re: GET and BGET from channel

I suppose the only real reason for using the turbo tk equivalents is to allow your program to run on a system without TK2.

Re: GET and BGET from channel

Bget #channel, byte use Byte=code(inkey$(#channel)) Vanilla superbasic has no method of setting file pointer (like bget\) that works consistently across rom versions. There is a largely undocumented PAN (see Simon Goodwin's bugs articles) which is able to, but only on some rom versions. You may be ab...
