Re: QL Pico VGA

..... two diodes to power the board either from a modded QL or a VESA compliant monitor in addition to the standard usb socket. Maybe I made a mistake: Looking closely at the VESA standard, the +5v line is not powered by the monitor, it is an input instead. In this case the D2 diode can be omitted....

Re: QL Pico VGA

Hi Gianni, ..... It is correct, and tested in several VGA designs. Oliver just called them "fear resistors" agreeing they are not required ;) Which version with the smaller module are you building, the tiny one, or the more normal sized one? Hi Peter, thank you for the clarification. I am...

Re: QL Pico VGA

Hello! I am in the process of making this adapter and I have noticed that in the early version there are two 100 ohm resistors connected to GP16 and GP17 for the VGA syncs. In the later versions, the one with the smaller PI, the 100 ohm resistors are missing and the syncs are directly wired to the V...

Re: GBS-8220 RGB TO VGA Converter

Gianni, Did the change of ULA fix this issue? Hi friends, sorry I am late... unfortunately the change of ULA did not fix the problem. I also did a test with an old CGA IBM PC without success... Maybe my GBS-8220 is faulty or is a very unstable version working only with some specific frequenci...

No, it is not sermouse compatible, it is a PS2 to joystick (CTL1) converter

Exactly ! ;)
I have tested it with ICE with good results.

DIY PS2(USB) Standard mouse adaptor

I'm glad to share my last QL hardware project : The GC QL mouse adaptor. :D This allow the use of a standard PS2/USB mouse with the QL. It is connected to the QL via the CTL1 port (no hardware modifications are requested on the QL). The 5V power come from a low power PSU or from the QL via the exter...
