It will if the TK2 part of the 64k EPROM is enabled with the jumper.... with it disabled the 16k starting at $C000 is free to be used by whatever is using the normal ROM port 16k chunk.

Re: What is a Mega OPD?
Hi, My QL/QEP3 setup is rather cranky. I built up a library of images earlier in the year and borrowed a PC based programmer to get them all on to the PC. That had to be returned to Germany and it was delayed in Customs there for ages and was thought lost so I don't think I'll be doing it again. I ...

For Sale: Pairs of 27C1024 EPROMS for Q40/60
I say 'For Sale' but I really mean free, just pay postage at cost. I have six pairs of 27C1024-12 (64k x16, 120ns) EPROMS that are suitable for Q40/Q60, or indeed whatever else you may need them for. Four pairs are made by ST, two are AMD. All have been UV erased and then checked to be completely bl...

Re: 68K/OS "ROM" based disk attempt
would be handy to design a ROM port plugin cartidge with a switch or jumpers and a ZIF socket - for just such experiments :-) I did, but when I ordered a few slot connectors of the right size (as a passthrough for QIMSI) they never came! They don't seem to be available in the right size and I haven...

Re: 68K/OS "ROM" based disk attempt
Chr$ sells them I think and may be able to burn you a combined 64K image Thanks Pr0f, spoke to Chr$ and he is going to try and make me a board with the OS and 16K utility ROM If that works ok I'll be able to try and get the floppy driver to work with one of my FDC's But in the meantime I have an IC...

Re: Memory IC's for PCML Q+?
I only have 3 'fresh' ones, pulled from sockets. I do however have some PC SIMM sticks with 8 each on them.... if you fancy de-soldering (probably not)! 2 of those, so 16 chips, for £10. Hi Chr$ Don’t really fancy de-soldering so will leave it for now, thanks though Have found some on eBay for a re...

Re: 68K/OS "ROM" based disk attempt
I'm thinking about what format to use for the resulting microdrive image. QLay's MDV image looks general on the surface, but it's not, it only works because emulators know the image format and that is specific to QDOS (512-byte sectors, etc.). Another issue is that it doesn't explicitly store the m...
