Re: System Development Tool 128K c 1988

Eprom board arrangement looks like this.

I managed to decipher "(c) Busy Bee Soft" on the rear.

£150 boxed QL in UK

A heads up on this one - nothing to do with me and I don't know the seller: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164868041734 A boxed bargain! I'd buy it if it wasn't for the extra taxes now and the fact that I have enough to be getting on with (picked up another German one the other day, just because the box...

Re: Read Only error with Gold Card and QubIDE

A lot of CF cards don't work at all with QubIDE, I think because there have been slightly different standards over the years. There's no way of knowing just from the manufacturer, size/specs. You may have to try a few different ones with the WIN_FORMAT, WIN_DISK etc procedure as described above befo...

Re: More recent mdv discoveries

Of the remaining carts, here were the most interesting discoveries: QIMP (QL Icon Manager Program - see pic) - v1.50 1986 by L. Hirschbiegel. Can find nothing whatsoever about it or the author. Looks like an interesting icon/menu environment. Works with cursor keys or mouse (not sure what type of mo...

Yes, I think you're right as the style of the label is the same as other QL World exchange carts that I have.

Re: Spare Psion packs, please!

I got a pack I can get rid of, but you seem to be filled ;) I'm in Germany too, and it tends to be expensive to post them, not that it was cheap before Brexit. They should certainly fall under the customs limit though. I'd pay £10 per pack of 4 in the original case. Could probably give an address i...

Re: QLUB Adapter - Initial Release...

Yes, it works perfectly now! I just sent a screen to the QL in the other room.

Thanks Marcel, sorry for being such a noob and sorry for wasting your time Martyn, with a problem for which I was entirely to blame.

So, 12.8m cables do work perfectly, at least I have confirmed that
