Thanks for that! Yeah am trying to repair an old '05' build version - just getting a white screen at boot time. Tried external ROM cartridge, same deal. Driving me nuts. Won't bore you with the details here, all in my other post.

Yeah for big bucks. Try to get a broken one, usually RAM issues, or blown video circuit transistors.
