Re: Sandy RAM card, PAL blew up.

You may ask whether this guy can read out the PAL content. Probably not 100% exactly the same but it may help to understand.

Re: Sandy RAM card, PAL blew up.

Hi Chris,

to find the short you may consider to apply current 100mA to 200mA with an adjustable power supply. Then just feel which chip gets hot.

Re: QLUB Adapter - Initial Release...

I met Carlo around 1992 / 1993 at a QL meeting in the Netherlands, and I recall that MDV support was not possible: (2) MICRODRIVE support The MicroDrive subroutines and matching Hook codes of the ZX Interface 1 Shadow ROM are fully emulated. Nonetheless, it is not (yet) possible to read ZX Spectrum ...

Re: QLUB Adapter - Initial Release...

There are also emulators that (nearly) completely emulate the ZX Interface 1 with Microdrive and serial port emulation. There are really ZX Spectrum emulators for the QL that emulating the ZX Microdrive? In terms that you can put in a ZX Cartridge into the QL Microdrive and load from it? Can you po...

Re: RAM failure

Hi Derek, thanks for your answer. This is basically what I did but using the tool here: https://www.nightfallcrew.com/minervaram/index.php It tells me that all Ram chips from 1 to 8 are faulty. Which is somehow unlikely to me and let me think to check for other possible causes first before changing ...

RAM failure

Hi all, One of my QLs fail to boot and a Minerva RAM failure information appears just before completing the RAM test: [img]Ram_test.jpg[/img This leads to the information that all RAM chips 1-8 are bad. To me this is a little bit unlikely but of course still possible. As the complete lower bank seem...

Re: QL Pico VGA

Hi all, this morning I was hit by heavy jetlag so I used the extra time for QL-ing. All parts have been waiting on my desk for completing the VGA adapter, so I assembled it and I am happy that everything works really well! VGA Adapter.jpg Thanks to Oliver for releasing the project to public and than...

Thanks but it doesn't answer my question of how they are handled. Is the triplet a unique ascii code converted to the pressing of three lines?
Sorry for misreading your question. I thought you just ask whether triple key strokes works in general.

Re: USB Keyboard IF

It behaves as it should be:

Shift + CTRL + "<-" deletes the word on left
ALT + CTRL + "<-" deletes the line on the left

I just tried it again to be sure.
