But I think it is still a pity that there seems not a precise sync timer in .01 or .001 seconds independent of the platform.
An extension for 20ms would be easy enough!

Re: Amstrad CPC6128 (partially working) £FREE

Hi, I live very close to Bath, so could easily come around and pick it up. I've been made redundant today (given where I live, from reading the news you may be able to guess where I worked), so I could devote some time to this. I've not contributed as much as many on here, but I can claim to have h...

Re: Quill from Gilsoft

Hence why I sent an MDV image (that does not have the QDOS header at the start of the executable code) and should work in uQLx
Uqlx/sqlux don't support mdv files. Floppy or win only.

Re: MicroP Controller with Minerva Issue

One thing I don't think anyone has mentioned, Minerva checks more addresses in memory for ROM's than the Sinclair ROM's. Maybe there is some kind of address problem on your MicroP interface. So that the ROM appears twice, or at some odd addresses. So the Sinclair ROM's just see the first instance o...

Re: Video cable compatible with all Scart TVs

Probably not very relevant here, I don't know, there was sometimes an issue if a Gold/Super Gold Card was involved. One eBay supplier made different SCART monitor leads for QLs with Gold Cards or Super Gold Cards (maybe both, can't remember). They use the CSYNC as ram refresh signal, so squashing i...

Re: 68K/OS "ROM" based disk attempt

I'm thinking about what format to use for the resulting microdrive image. QLay's MDV image looks general on the surface, but it's not, it only works because emulators know the image format and that is specific to QDOS (512-byte sectors, etc.). Another issue is that it doesn't explicitly store the m...

Is suggesting it spam? You might try reading it before disrespectfully putting the boot in. I've put in up to 20 hours on this already, to respect and love other people. Talent is lengthy. 20 hours of just endless paragraph free posts? I am failing to see any valuable content! Your just rehashing w...

So, where is the Qzero mounted on top of QL main board. Peter says the Q68 can't even fit in the case. Where is the new case and package? Where is the finished product?
Waiting for you to design it!
