Re: SuperCharge Decompiler

As the author of the xwords program, I'm happy to try to explain any aspects of the program which cause any problems or which require clarification.

It is some time since I wrote the program. So it might take me a while to understand my own code!

Re: SuperCharge Decompiler

Hello Martin, I'm very pleased to read about your Turbo decompiler software. It's a little bit too advanced for me to follow at times, but I find it so interesting that you've achieved what many thought couldn't be done. So, trying to help in whatever way I can, I enclose an old word game program of...

Re: Fire

Oh my goodness Dylwin I am so, so sorry to hear about this, I seem to have heard of so much bad happening to you in the last few years. What happened to your neighbour is tragic. But from what you say it sounds as though it was probably inevitable. At least you seem to have prepared yourself for som...

Unpickable Window

Anyone know how to make an unpickable window for display of a logo?

A bit like wallpaper or a BGIMAGE in SMSQ/E, but part screen only (i.e. a window).

When I get time I will finish the conversion and post them on the QL Homepage. With 78 games to convert, wouldnt it be ...

Boxing Game

Apparently there was a request on the Online Chat last week for someone to write a boxing game for QL. Although I didn't write it, here is a conversion of a Boxing listing from Creative Computing to QL Superbasic. I think it appeared in the book Basic Computer Games by David Ahl. No frills - it runs...
