Re: FPGA replacment for the ZX8301 ULA and more
It a matter of 3-4mm I use these pins that are perfect for round pin sockets and are thin enough not to destroy the others unless you insert and remove many times. 5272971692517406008.jpg if only they where a bit longer from either top or preferably bottom side. Hi. We can't find the long round con...

Re: CPLD replacement for ZX8301
I use ZX8301_160smd.zip from the post : Very good! Try the last version of program for your pcb version I attached. I fixed a video bug since we talked. AD724 version, metal oscillatos is temporary solution :) 4-pin connector - power for programming. https://pic.maxiol.com/thumbs2/1706563802.1551891...

Re: CPLD replacement for ZX8301
Hi. Does anybody try this CPLD replacement to use with the SGC ? I see a lot of artefacts on the screen. https://pic.maxiol.com/thumbs2/1706561435.1551891701.img20240130032934.jpg https://pic.maxiol.com/thumbs2/1706561496.1551891701.img20240130032936.jpg https://pic.maxiol.com/thumbs2/1706561527.155...

Re: Close, but no cigar..
Hi Anyone - if you have an Aurora board to hand - are you able to post a detailed closeup picture of the top and bottom of the PCB in the area of the QAG (this is the smaller CPLD chip near the OS ROM socket on Aurora - ideally including the ROM socket (with chip is fine) and the bottom of the larg...

Re: DIY QubIDE Parts list
GALS, part list and ROM in attacment.
ROM pins 28 and 1 - Vcc
What ROM chip you have ?
For 27C256 you need to use the second half of the ROM chip ( $4000 - $7FFF )
For 27C512 you need to use the last quarter of the ROM chip ( $C000 - $FFFF ).

Re: Memory Expansion / Disk I/f currently available ?
Yes, recently I was able to solve the INGOT20/21 problem. Amazing. To reverse engineer the SGC logic without sourcecode is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations and applause to you! :D It is also a very beautiful board. I like that you are using through-hole components whereever possible. Keeps ...

Re: Memory Expansion / Disk I/f currently available ?
Hi Tetroid! Good you are still here and best wishes. :) :) :) Does that mean you've been able to reverse engineer the SuperGoldCard's EPM1810 and move the logic into a EPM7128? Congratulations then! Sorry if you wrote about that previously and I missed it. Peter Yes, recently I was able to solve th...

Re: Memory Expansion / Disk I/f currently available ?
As far as I know the only combined disk/RAM was the Trump card clone from Siberia, but he can no longer send those, for obvious reasons, so 2nd hand is the only way. Shipping - no problem ( except Poland and Finland in Europe, South America, Australia, New Zealand ). Payment - problem, only via non...
